Well the UK seems to have come to a standstill because of the weather... everywhere is running out of salt & grit (even stores are running out of table salt - i saw one woman sprinkling it before she took a step on the way to her car!).
Unfortunately, my dear child has taken after me - he loses mittens. Despite having clips on them! So Kathy & I 'whipped up' some fleece mittens (recognise the material?!) and i've tied string through his entire coat. This better work! We've kept the pattern, just in case.
We've developed a new part of our routine... when eden wakes up from a nap, he's generally very fragile. In fact, when i pick him up, he usually closes his eyes and rests on me for awhile. So now after his naps we cuddle and sing songs...as he wakes up he claps at every pause....and then when he's properly awake, we move onto more lively songs. (ie. ladies go nim - a firm favourite).

Love the pictures and the blog- great picture of Phil and Eden at the top- now the material- don't recognize it- sorry- what a clever idea to make him some mittens - and yes the string does work well- maybe you should do that with your mittens as well-
jonathan bought me new leather mittens for christmas as i lost mine last year- so maybe i need a string too-
how fun that you get some cuddle time- sounds like a nice way for Eden to wake up-
blessings on your day
